Roots
I created this book/diary/notebook to try to help either ease anxiety or educate people who want to know more about burn-out, anxiety or depression. 
This book is culturally specific to Slovakia and Slovak folklore. I illustrated some scenes from the culture and also drew negative feelings people may have. I wanted to make them visually opposite to reflect on the emotions.
I conducted an interview with a professional therapist. We talked about some terms and their definitions, how we can help others when they need it and how to ask for help yourself.
I wanted to make people have an emotion, feel something and have a moment of self-reflection so I included questions and little task that will help the reader do just that.
There are also my own thoughts from when I was dealing with my own depressive episode. Hearing other people share their story felt truly inspiring so I hope I can do the same for someone else.
I included dances that were typical for Slovak culture and in the old days brought people together so they could forget all the struggles of everyday life.
Try the dance with your friends and family or even alone.
